Averhoff collects in Jutland and on the island of Funen

In 2008, Averhoff A/S won a large public tender from 'Elretur' which is a Danish scheme that ensures an environmentally safe treatment and disposal of all electrical waste and electronic equipment (a collective scheme for manufacturers and distributors alike).

Based on this contract, Averhoff A/S will be collecting electronic waste from more or less all household waste recycling centers in Jutland and on Funen until the year 2012.

Electronic waste is collected in wire frame cages which are available to the public at household waste recycling centers. Once filled, the wire frame cages are transported by truck to our production facilities in Risskov by Aarhus where the electronic waste is recycled according to current environmental legislation.
