The Averhoff family has been involved in the waste recycling industry since 1948, initially in the waste paper recycling industry, which was followed by the collection and recycling of computers and other electronic equipment in 1980. Founded in 1985, over the years Averhoff A/S has gained substantial knowledge in environmentally sound, rational separation and post processing of electronic equipment.
Electronic scrap collected nationwide is transported to one of the Averhoff production facilities. Products are then dismantled and handled according to ministerial orders from the Danish Ministry of the Environment as well as the EC Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
This way, we ensure optimum recycling while observing minimum requirements of standing regulations. Furthermore, environmentally harmful components are discarded, either deposited at special waste reserves or through reclamation.
Averhoff offers individually tailored collection and treatment arrangements, e.g. special destruction and dissection agreements ensuring complete data and information removal.
