From red to green Smiley
We are very happy and proud of the fact, that our working environment now has earned a green Smiley. We’ve worked with determination on this for a long time e.g. by improving many installations; reduced dust accumulations throughout the produc-tion line and eliminated unnecessary sources of noise. We have measured dust and noise throughout the process in collaboration with accredited labs and AT (The Danish Working Environment Authority). We also have introduced new cleaning routines and in-creased security to minimize risk of damages and accidents. We intend to keep it like that and not only maintain the excellent work environment but also constantly to improve it further.
Kuusakoski Oy acquires 80 % of Averhoff A/S
The former owner of Averhoff, Michael Averhoff, keeps the remaining 20% and continues as CEO of the company. Kuusakoski Oy is a Finnish family-owned group, which posted revenue of approx. EUR 810 million in 2010. CEO Timo Kuusakoski is the fifth generation in the global group, which has offices in Scandinavia, Europe, the Baltic States and Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and the USA.
